Using Language Intentionally October 8, 2019
This training looks at the language we use with children and what phrases to avoid as well as which ones to use more often to be able to have the greatest positive influence and impact in the lives of children. This session looks specifically at the phrases "You're okay," "friend," and I'm sorry," among others. It also examines how different language affects children who have and who are experiencing trauma or are living in stress and coping.
