Using Music and Movement for Quality Transitions and Instruction (Part 2) May 29, 2019
How can incorporating music and movement into routines improve the quality of transitions for children? How can you use music and storytelling to reinforce concepts with preschool age children and maximize instruction during routines? In this workshop, participants will: a) practice a variety of songs to use during group meetings and during transitions, they will leave with new songs to use; b) identify specific ways to incorporate those songs and others into the routines of their own classes, leave with a specific plan to do so; c) learn a story to tell with puppets and song - Caterpillar in Rabbit's Hole, along with popular tales; d) share ways in which participants have increased music in their routines since the training on April 8th.
