All children deserve to be protected from trafficking situations and be supported to avoid risky situations that could lead to trafficking. As caring adults, we can make a big difference for children and create safer communities free from child trafficking. After attending this 2 hour interactive training you will: a) know that child trafficking can involve labor trafficking, sex trafficking, and coerced drug dealing. b) be able to recognize the signs of child trafficking. c) understand risks and protective factors. d) be prepared to create safe environments for children and youth. * 2 Continuing Education Credits are available for Vermont Social Workers, Vermont Allied Mental Health Professionals, Vermont Behavior Analysts, Vermont Psychoanalysts, Vermont Psychological Examiners, and Vermont Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors.
