Special Topics:
Sponsor: Rachel Hunter
Instructor: Rachel Hunter

In early childhood, play is the most important part of the curriculum. Curriculum for young children is physical and relational, and it happens in strong communication with families. A solid early childhood curriculum can really set students up to succeed and feel safe in school. Participants of this training will explore the concepts of curriculum and how our own internal biases and interests shape our classroom. What does curriculum look like? How do we facilitate it? Connections will be drawn between interests, needs, VELS and methods. Participants will identify tasks to return to their program with for implementation.
