Writing a Program Improvement Plan That Works February 1, 2022
This training will review the elements of a program improvement plan. A program improvement plan is designed to set goals and action steps in response to a program assessment as part of an effort to make an already good program even better. Program improvement plans are used in the STARS system as part of the requirements in the Families and Community and Program Practices Arenas. Participants will learn about: • Continuous Quality Improvement • Reflecting on information provided in assessment reports • Using data for developing SMART goals • How to identify resources to support plan implementation • How to succeed at implementing plan action steps
