Youth Gardening Workshop for Childcare Providers May 3, 2019
Come spend an evening learning about ways to cultivate interest and engage children in the garden. Gardening with children helps them gain fine motor skills, garners responsibility, creates a sense of ownership and grows healthy connections to food and the environment. Get ideas for all spaces, and learn how you can incorporate gardening into your daily routine. In this workshop participants will learn how to create themed gardens such as pizza gardens, alphabet gardens, sensory gardens color wheel gardens and more!

Training will be held at the Rotary Educational Greenhouse located in the indoor farmer's market on 251 West Street in Rutland. There is a $5.00 fee for providers who are not members of the network to cover cost of materials, It can be paid the night of the workshop.
