Nurturing a Sense of Wonder: Adult Role and Language in Nature-Based Play and Learning Deb Norris September 9, 2022

In this session, we will examine the role of the early childhood educator as they give young learners opportunities to: be outdoors, explore, play, investigate, make observations, ask questions, collaborate, communicate, and be responsible for their own behavior and learning. We’ll introduce language and strategies to help participants create more peaceful learning communities and foster children’s curiosity, compassion and confidence.
