Through this training, we will cover: - How to establish Healthy relationships with children - How to establish professional relationships with families and parents - What a healthy environment looks like in a childcare setting - What a professional relationship consists of and what to stray away from - How to be professional in the workplace - When to ask for help with parent communication - Why parent/ guardian communication is important - Why we must keep established connections with families - When to set up parent/ teacher conferences - Keeping children safe (internet safety, open communication, asking questions about home life) - How to encourage families to engage within the school, with teachers and with their children - Encouragement for understanding diverse families and how to support them in the community
