Never Too Early: Literacy Introduction and Refresher Deb Norris November 14, 2023

This Never Too Early Literacy Introduction and Refresher training is for both educators who have never taken a NTE course and for educators who have already completed Levels I and II Literacy. Participants will meet in two sessions: the first will be 30 minutes of introductory material and the second will be one hour of discussion of children's literature and classwork. Intro participants will briefly explore open-ended questions, philosophy of education, and curriculum development, among other topics. Refresher participants will be asked to share lessons learned since participating in the NTE classes and will develop new curriculum, based on the new books to review. Participants will receive a free set of picture books after the first session. Participants will receive two credit hours upon completion.
