Managing Challenging Behaviors April 6, 2026
This 3-hour session guides educators in creating classroom discipline systems that actively advance equity and inclusion. Participants will examine how traditional approaches can unintentionally reinforce racial and cultural disparities, and how trauma can shape student behavior and educator response. Through case studies and practice, they will learn to replace punitive measures with restorative strategies and trauma-informed supports that foster accountability, repair relationships, and build a classroom community where every student experiences safety and belonging.
