This webinar provides the participant with an overview of STARS The Step Ahead Recognition System (Vermont’s Quality Recognition and Improvement System (QRIS) for childcare, preschool and afterschool programs. The objective of this webinar is to familiarize the participants with the process of applying for STARS and provide general information about developing a Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQI).

This meeting will be an hour-long seminar with a half hour added at the end for questions, making for an hour and a half of online presentation. There will be resources given out that participants are expected to read, leading to two hours of professional development.
