Summer Camp Kick-Off Hailey Paschold May 12, 2026

On June 6th, we are hosting a Summer Camp Kick-Off professional development event for camp leaders and staff at the beautiful Green Mountain Club in Waterbury. This will be a day to center on recharging, preparing your afterschool and summer program staff, and celebrating the joy of our work -- all while gaining 3 hours of PD credit.

We’ll be tackling things like de-escalation, transitions, rainy day activities, and the summer slump, all while embracing the best parts of camp life. Zinc-covered noses, tie-dye shirts, and your favorite footwear (yes, we mean Crocs) are highly encouraged. Lunch and s'mores are on us!

Cost: The cost of the registration is $50 per person. Payment for registration must be received prior to the day of the event. After May 15, 2026, all registrations will require payment upfront.

Cancellation Policy: To ensure a successful event, all cancellations must be sent in writing to Becka Wilcke by Friday, May 15, 2026 to be eligible for a full refund. After May 15, 2026, all confirmed registrations are liable for all related registration fees, including payments that have not yet been received by Vermont Afterschool at the time of cancellation. We are unable to make exceptions for emergencies or illness; however, you may send a substitute in your place.
