Discoveries in the Atelier: Making Marks, Exploring Materials, Representing our Stories June 10, 2026
RIVET (Reggio Inspired Vermont Early Education Team) is excited to host the Reggio Children's Mosaic of Marks, Words, Materials Exhibition-Atelier in Winooski, Vermont this summer, July 1 through August 15. This exhibition-atelier is a rare opportunity for early educators, families, and community members to experience and celebrate children’s many languages, creativity, and meaning-making.
RIVET will be conducting free, interactive atelier (studio) sessions throughout the summer for the early childhood community. After viewing the exhibit participants will experiment with mark-making tools and unexpected material surfaces in ways that surprise and delight. They will explore materials designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and meaning making while experiencing firsthand the open-ended, joyful inquiry at the heart of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
