Understanding the Sexual Behaviors of Children March 21, 2019
This training is designed to promote adult understanding of the range sexual behaviors in children aged twelve and under, including behaviors that are developmentally expected, concerning, and abusive. It will explore issues of consent, equality, and coercion, and assist participants in evaluating whether or not behaviors are a problem and why. Participants will: a) summarize distinguish between normal, problematic, and abusive behaviors; b) practice evaluating the sexual behaviors of children. This program is particularly for infant through after school teachers and care givers, and those who support them.
