American Heart Association Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid course covers basic first aid, including relief from choking, seizures, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, EpiPen use, burns, bites, poisoning, broken bones, bleeding control, bandaging, glove removal, temperature-related emergencies, and how to assist with other life-threatening conditions. Optional components: Adult CPR AED, Child CPR AED and Infant CPR, Asthma Care, Written test. This course is the best fit for teachers, summer camp counselors, coaches, fitness instructors, foster care and social workers, nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters (14 years or older), construction workers, and general workforce. This course is for new or renewing/re-certifying students. Certification: American Heart Association - Official 2-year certification card given at class. Who should NOT take this First Aid training - medical or health care professionals.
