Social Emotional Teaching Strategies Birth to Age 5 December 19, 2019
Children need to be taught specific strategies to develop friendship skills, emotional vocabulary, recognize feelings in oneself and others, be mindful, and control intense emotions. Teachers of young children can support social-emotional learning through embedding learning activities into daily routines and teaching children strategies to identify and cope with their emotions.
