  • Trauma Informed Practice 2: Supporting Children Who Have Experienced Trauma  –  March 18, 2025This training provides a deep dive into understanding the stress response of children who have experienced trauma. Participants will explore the six core competencies of trauma intervention and several models, tools, techniques, and strategies to help support and address children’s trauma responses in child care settings.
  • Deepening Developmentally Appropriate Practice (Community of Practice) – Starts March 25, 2025Are you an advanced practitioner with strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice? Join your colleagues to deepen your knowledge and practice implementing developmentally appropriate practices in the early childhood classroom. Participants will receive a copy of Developmentally Appropriate Practice in Early Childhood Programs (4th edition) released by NAEYC in 2021. Session topics will be determined by participants in partnership with the facilitator based on areas of the book you wish to explore.

  • Introduction of Materials Through a Social/Emotional Lens   March 19, 2025This highly interactive training explores how introducing materials into early learning environments fosters social-emotional growth within STEM experiences.
  • Uncovering STEM through Play and Exploration – April 2, 2025This highly interactive training will help Early Educators understand how STEM naturally occurs in children’s play and exploration, and how to foster deeper thinking in these experiences.
  • The “S” in STEM – Physics of Ramps – April 9, 2025
    Discover the many learning opportunities children naturally experience and investigate during ramp play. Learn the basic principles of physics (force and motion) by playing with ramps and by discussing these concepts with peers.
  • The “E” in STEM – Demystifying Engineering – April 23, 2025
    Come tinker with materials, experience engineering firsthand, and the importance of reflecting, expressing and representing both our own work and the work of children.
