Baby and Toddler Signing Basics Sylvia Kennedy-Godin

Learn the basics of signing with babies and toddlers. We will teach you some new vocabulary to use at the different stages of early childhood, and help you create scenarios for using sign in the classroom, including songs and games. Signing can be used to communicate, manage behavior, increase motor skills and for fun! Each participant will: 1) acquire a repertoire of basic signs to use with children at different stages of early childhood; 2) discover strategies to weave sign language into their learning environments.

The Making Connections Conference will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Education Conference Room at the Brattleboro Retreat, 1 Anna Marsh Lane, Brattleboro, VT 05301. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Each participant will receive a children's book.
