Basic Specialized Care October 23, 2019
Basic Specialized Care is a six-hour introductory training for early childhood professionals who serve vulnerable children and their families in child care settings. This training is one of the requirements to become a Specialized Child Care Provider in Vermont. Topics covered include: child development, the impact of stress and abuse on development, red flags, working with families and the system, and mandated reporting responsibilities. Online mandated reporter training is a PRE-REQUISITE to completing this workshop. Please bring proof of this training to class.

Location: The Leahy Conference Center 160 Allen Street Rutland, VT 05701. The Mandated Reporter training is REQUIRED before taking Basic Specialized Care.
