Conscious Discipline August 26, 2019
Participants will a) learn about the evidence-based Conscious Discipline trauma-informed approach, b) learn about this emotional intelligence program that is based on current brain research, child development and developmentally appropriate practices, c) learn that this method is specifically designed to make changes in the adult's life first by learning how to consciously manage our own behavior so we can help the child do the same and d) learn how to guide children to develop self-control, utilize tools for conflict resolution, boost self-esteem, and foster positive relationship and social skills.
