This hands-on, minds on training helps child care providers feel more comfortable creating curriculum and writing lesson plans tailored to the children in their programs. We will focus on developing integrated curriculum units using a template to gather ideas and align activities to the Vermont Early Learning Standards. Then we will focus on how to take the ‘big ideas of the curriculum unit and create weekly lesson plans that foster learning and play for all children in your program. Participants will leave with the a solid foundation of materials to implement a new curriculum unit in their program.
