Equitable Observation March 18, 2026
This training helps early educators take a closer look at how bias and dominant cultural norms shape the way we observe and document children’s learning. Participants will practice noticing strengths without slipping into deficit language and explore culturally responsive ways to interpret what they see. We’ll use real observation examples to think about how our notes and interpretations influence instructional decisions, with a focus on creating more inclusive, equity-centered learning environments for every child.
