Discover the seven essential life skills every child needs to succeed!
Following the work of Ellen Galinsky and her book Mind in the Making we will meet for 12 hours of professional development training over the course of 8 weeks. These modules will outline the 7 essential life skills every child needs and how to create developmentally appropriate games and activities that promote executive functioning of the brain. This course is oriented towards adults who work with children ages 2-12. We will cover a broad spectrum of ages and developmental phases/abilities. We will also work with multiple aspects of adult learning and look at our own executive functioning skills as teachers and parents.
