Family Child Care Home Pyramid Model Modules July 24, 2025
These modules offer an in-depth exploration of the Pyramid Model framework within Family Child Care (FCC) settings, emphasizing the unique aspects of FCC such as the home environment, diverse age spans, and family collaboration and engagement. Participants will learn to implement culturally relevant practices that support the social-emotional development of mixed age groups of children from infancy to school age within FCC settings. We will explore topics such as teaching social-emotional skills, addressing challenging behaviors, collecting meaningful data, and using effective organization, time management, and collaboration strategies in FCC settings.
To kick off this series, we also invite you to attend a keynote training by Dr. Mary Louise Hemmeter on "Inclusion and Belonging, Supporting Children and the Workforce" from 9-10:30 on Aug. 2nd, the day of the first session.
