Finding Your Way: Ethical Decision Making for Professionals February 6, 2020
This 6 hour training uses personal reflection and conversation to introduce critical concepts of professionalism in the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct. Participants will practice strategies to effectively manage ethical dilemmas that arise in their work with children, families, and coworkers. Participants will explore ways the Code can be used daily as a tool. Training meets Advanced Specialized Care criteria. A two-hour in-person training session; A two-hour assignment practicing or implementing the training material; and Another two-hour in-person training session focused on reflection and next steps related to the training material. To receive the full 6 training hours participants must attend both in-person trainings and complete the independent assignment.
