Fostering Healthy Attachments: Strategies for Supporting Social-Emotional Development in Infants and Toddlers March 18, 2025
This training will focus on the importance of social-emotional development in early childhood, exploring effective practices and interventions that caregivers and educators can implement to promote secure attachments. Discussions will cover the principles of attachment theory, strategies for creating nurturing environments, activities that encourage emotional expression and regulation, the role of family engagement in fostering healthy relationships, and available resources and support for educators and families. The goal is to equip participants with practical tools and knowledge to enhance their approach to supporting the emotional well-being of infants and toddlers across the state.
