Fundamentals For Early Childhood Professionals November 17, 2025
This 45-hour training includes broad introductory content designed specifically for early childhood professionals related to eight core knowledge areas: child development, families and communities, observing and assessing, how we teach, what we teach, healthy safe environments and nutrition, professionalism, and program organization.
Please Note: The Fundamentals commitment includes: 45 hours of online learning, consisting of 15 two-hour Zoom sessions and one hour of independent work per week in Canvas. Additionally, participants will need to complete the Introduction to Licensing training offered by Northern Lights. As part of the 45 hours, there are 15 training sessions conducted on Zoom (see training dates above). Participants must have access to Internet connection and IT equipment that best supports their success. We encourage participants to review the CCV computer recommendations.
