Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals – Hybrid November 18, 2019
This 45-hour training includes broad introductory content designed specifically for early childhood professionals related to eight core knowledge areas: child development, families and communities, observing and assessing, how we teach, what we teach, healthy safe environments and nutrition, professionalism, and program organization. This is a hybrid training. There are 9 in-person classes ($25) and 10 online modules ($50). Participants must create accounts with Better Kid Care and complete 10 online modules outside of class (to be assigned by your trainer); this requires internet access. Participants will be responsible for the fee ($5 paid directly to Better Kid Care) for the certificate of completion for each Better Kid Care module.

This Training will be at the Montpelier CCV in Room 130. Have you completed (with a C- or better) a college course that covers child development? If so, check with your resource adviser before registering. Participants must enroll in the entire Fundamentals series. Individual sessions are not available. Capacity: 15. As per CCV policy, we ask that you not bring children to this training.
