Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Training Deb Norris

American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid with CPR/AED Online is a self-directed e-learning course that utilizes interactive lessons and videos to teach you CPR/AED for adults and First Aid, including relief from choking, seizures, heart attack, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, EpiPen use, burns, bites, poisoning, broken bones, bleeding control, bandaging, glove removal, temperature related emergencies, and how to aid with other life threatening conditions. An in-person practice and skill check session must also be completed with VT SafetyNet to receive certification. This course is for new or renewing/recertifying students. The American Heart Association is authorized by IACET to offer CEUs.

Community Connections is sponsoring this Blended Learning Training at the East Montpelier Elementary School. Please complete the $30 online blended learning for First Aid and CPR before the skills check on the 6th https://shopcpr.heart.org/courses/heartsaver-first-aid-cpr-aed (Complete the optional infant and child sections) Bring the completed Certificate with you and be prepared to pay the in-person fee of $70-75 on the night of the skills check. You must pre-register with Kim Bolduc, the Community Connections Director by email kbolduc@u32.org. This training is an approved training to meet Licensing Regulations
