This module provides a deep dive into creating inclusive and engaging classroom environments that promote positive behavior and learning. Participants will learn to:

  • (1) Design classroom schedules and routines that support predictability and reduce challenging behavior.
  • (2) Implement effective transitions that keep children engaged and minimize disruptions.
  • (3) Foster children’s participation through strategies that promote engagement across daily activities.
  • (4) Develop and teach clear rules and expectations that are developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive.

    • Outcome: Educators will leave with concrete strategies to structure their classrooms in ways that proactively support every child, including those with the most significant needs.
