Introduction to Mentoring Sylvia Kennedy-Godin January 28, 2019

An introduction to the various opportunities available in Vermont for mentoring, discussion of expectations for mentors and protégés, identifying the parameters and boundaries of confidentiality and interactive discussions and hands-on learning to identify current strengths and gain the skills needed to be an effective mentor. Obj 1: Describe the various expectations of mentors and apprentices, Obj 2: Observe and accurately record actions of adults who are working with children/youth. Obj 3: Be able to use one formal assessment tool.
