LGBTQIA+ Training for Early Childhood Educators October 20, 2023
How welcomed and included do LGBTQ+ families and staff feel in our ECE programs? How can we support all students in learning to understand and respect diverse families and classmates? You may have heard about laws in other states targeting trans youth and families, and that makes it more important than ever to be as inclusive as we can be for everyone at your ECE center. In these trainings, facilitators from Think Again Training and Consulting will review key concepts and terminology for discussing LGBTQ+ identities and families in age-appropriate ways and discuss inclusive practices we can implement in ECE classrooms and workplaces. The training will be specifically tailored for ECE center staff and specific classroom practices.
