The ​Medication ​Administration ​training ​is ​designed ​to ​help ​you ​safely ​administer ​medications ​to ​young ​children ​in ​your ​care. ​ You ​will ​learn ​how ​to: ​demonstrate ​procedures ​for ​receiving, ​storing, ​preparing, ​administering, ​and ​documenting ​administration ​of ​medications; ​describe ​and ​demonstrate ​what ​to ​do ​for ​signs ​and ​symptoms ​of ​an ​asthma ​attack ​and ​allergic ​reaction; ​and ​describe ​symptoms ​of ​adverse ​reactions ​to ​medication ​and ​actions ​to ​take ​when ​they ​are ​observed. Location: CCV Springfield, Howard Dean Center, 307 South Street, Springfield, VT. Room 306 – third floor. Parking: Parking is available either: in front of the building, to the left of the high school. Enter through the Tech Center doors (this is the first floor) and follow the hallway all the way to the back of the building. Take the elevator or stairs to the third floor. Or In back of the building (this is the second floor). Enter through the door marked for CCV and the Tech Center, follow the hallway straight forward and take either the elevator or the stairs to the third floor.
