Medication Administration May 16, 2019
The Medication Administration training is designed to help you safely administer medications to young children in your care. You will learn how to: demonstrate procedures for receiving, storing, preparing, administering, and documenting administration of medications; describe and demonstrate what to do for signs and symptoms of an asthma attack and allergic reaction; and describe symptoms of adverse reactions to medication and actions to take when they are observed. This will be held at the VT Achievement Center, Wisell Conference Room, 88 Park Street, pull in parking lot for Mitchell Therapy Pool, drive all the way around to the back of the building for parking and come up to the gray door at the top of the little hill. Light snacks will be provided, please bring your own drink.
