Medication Administration May 17, 2019
The Medication Administration training is designed to help you safely administer medications to young children in your care. You will learn how to: demonstrate procedures for receiving, storing, preparing, administering, and documenting administration of medications; describe and demonstrate what to do for signs and symptoms of an asthma attack and allergic reaction; and describe symptoms of adverse reactions to medication and actions to take when they are observed. CCV Room 306. Per CCV Policy, please do not bring children to this training. Parking: You may use the Rutland Multi-Model Transit Center Garage, which is located on West Street, less than a block away from CCV’s main entrance. The Rutland Multi-Model Transit Center Garage is open from 6:00am—11:00pm, and costs about $3 per day. There are also long-term parking meters on Court Street and free on-street parking on Elm and Church Streets a short distance away.
