The Medication Administration training is designed to help you safely administer medications to young children in your care. You will learn how to: demonstrate procedures for receiving, storing, preparing, administering, and documenting administration of medications; describe and demonstrate what to do for signs and symptoms of an asthma attack and allergic reaction; and describe symptoms of adverse reactions to medication and actions to take when they are observed. Location: CCV Winooski, 1 Abenaki Way. As per CCV policy, we ask that you not bring children to this training. The Winooski City Parking Garage is located one block west from the CCV building and costs $1 per hour. Metered parking on the street is another option (cash or credit, using the kiosk). Please do not park in the CCV Visitor lot or in lots designated for neighboring businesses.
