Join April and Suzette in exploring how to set up an engaging, low cost mud kitchen. This two hour session will focus on equipping educators with ways to help extend the children’s explorations of mud through developing a mud kitchen, adding tools and natural loose parts. April will start the session exploring three steps for embracing mud play. Then Suzette will give us a photo tour of her Mud Kitchen in her family child care program in Illinois. Participants will then get to self-select which breakout room they want to join. After the breakout rooms each group will share 2-3 highlights of their discussion. Participants will have access to the all the notes in a shared Google Doc!
