Natural Loose Parts Deb Norris

Special Topics:
Sponsor: Northern Lights at CCV
Instructor: April Zajko, M.Ed.

Nature offers a bounty of natural materials that can be transformed into meaningful and engaging learning tools for young children. Sticks, stones, bark, moss, clay, leaves, sand, pine cones, and shells are just a sampling of the materials that we will explore as mediums for teaching early literacy and math skills. Participants will learn how to select and offer natural materials to create engaging learning environments and explore storage solutions for outdoor use of loose parts.
