Educators Joan Carey and Emma Hallowell will strengthen our understanding of why nature-based learning is crucial, especially during the pandemic. Participants will gain inspiration and strategies to put immediately into place. Give yourself the opportunity to experience a well-established, active, Pre-K Forest Classroom in Guilford, Vermont. See how routines, activities, and standards come to life through the flow of a day. Participants will experience each of the following parts to a typical day in the classroom, including: o Circle Time o Focus Lessons o Forest Choice o Expeditions o Sit Spots o Fires o Risks and Hazards
