In this workshop, educators will explore simple, engaging ways to keep children actively learning all summer through nature-based play. Together, we'll dig into hands-on experiences including gardening, water play, gross motor games, creative arts, and open-ended exploration using natural and everyday materials you already have on hand.

Participants will receive a "digital tool kit” of ideas that are easy to implement, responsive to children's interests, and aligned with the Vermont Early Learning Standards. Whether you have a full outdoor classroom or just a small patch of green, you'll walk away with meaningful ways to create joyful, developmentally rich summer experiences.
