Never Too Early, Level II: Social-Emotional Development Through Children’s Literature Deb Norris

This NTE Level II training is for educators who have completed NTE Level I: Social-Emotional Development Through Children’s Literature. Topics included Self-Regulation, Emotions, Trauma, and Relationships and Belongings in terms of early childhood development. Students discussed children’s literature, considered social-emotional development in the context of literature, and shared curriculum development ideas with fellow professionals. Participants meet in three one-hour Zoom sessions to discuss activities assigned by the instructor and complete three hours of student work between sessions. Participants receive a free set of picture books.
