Never Too Early, Level II: Social-Emotional Development Through Children’s Literature Deb Norris

This NTE Level II training is for educators who have completed NTE Level I: Social-Emotional Development Through Children’s Literature. Topics include Self-Regulation, Emotions, Trauma, and Relationships and Belongings in terms of early childhood development. Students will discuss children’s literature, consider social-emotional development in the context of literature, and share curriculum development ideas with fellow professionals. Participants will meet in three one-hour Zoom sessions to discuss activities assigned by the instructor and three hours of student work are required between sessions. Participants will receive a free set of picture books.
