Never Too Early: Social Emotional Learning Deb Norris

Special Topics:
Sponsor: Vermont Humanities Council
Instructor: Amanda Menard

The Never Too Early training is an early literacy training program for childcare providers of children from birth to age six. Through these caregivers, NTE reaches Vermont’s youngest and most needy children, introducing them to books and reading, and preparing them to be ready for school and eager to learn. The NTE: Social-Emotional Learning training provides effective strategies to promote social and emotional learning in children. The training consists of two sessions of two hours each. Two hours of independent study is required between the sessions. This training satisfies the annual Advanced Specialized Care requirement for your Bright Futures Information System account. Providers taking the training earn six hours of professional development credit and are provided a free set of children's books. A Vermont Humanities program.
