Nonprofit Leadership: A Training for VT Nonprofit Child Care Program Leaders – Executive Directors Deb Norris September 28, 2020

The second session in a series of two 90-minute online, real time trainings, this session will be geared toward those in an Executive Director role. The presentation will be led Dr. Jane A. Van Buren, founding director of Noonmark Services, nationally and internationally recognized resource for board development, training and support. Discussion will include an overview of the distinctions of a non-profit business in VT, and the roles and responsibilities of the Executive Director of a non-profit child care business. We'll look at board vs. staff functions, vision, values and mission of a successful non-profit child care program. Participants will leave the series with resources and identified next steps to successful operation of a viable non-profit child care business.
