Not Just Another Tool: Creating Connections Between the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale 3 (ITERS-3), Vermont Early Learning Standards and Teaching Strategies Gold April 10, 2020
At times, teachers can feel overwhelmed by the many tools available for classroom assessment and improvement. While it might seem that these tools are vastly different, they have more in common than one might realize. During this session we will explore the relationship between the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale 3 (ITERS-3), the Vermont Early Learning Standards, and Teaching Strategies Gold. We will discuss the ways in which these tools support each other, and how they can be used together to improve classroom curriculum and quality of care. Prerequisite: Get Oriented to the ITERS-3: Signposts on Your Way with Infants and Toddlers, offered April 21,1:00-3:15 and April 23, 1:00-3:15.
