NTE: Visual Literacy and Experiential Art Through Children’s Literature – NEW FORMAT October 31, 2024
NEW FORMAT! Educators will meet during ONE, ONE-HOUR SESSION EACH MONTH via Zoom with work in between classes.
This training is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and practical skills to enrich the early learning experiences and environments of young children through experiential art.
This course will combine children's literature, theory, and collaborative exploration, fostering a creative and immersive environment for both educators and the children they care for. By the end of this course, participants will not only gain a comprehensive understanding of the topic but will also be equipped with practical strategies to create vibrant, art-infused environments that foster the holistic development of young children in their care.
Participants who complete the sessions and classwork will receive 12 credit hours. We are unable to award partial credit. Educators will receive a set of picture books to use with children in their care.
