Ownership Succession for Childcare Businesses October 5, 2020
This 90-minute online, real time training will describe all of the possible ways owners of child care businesses can pass their business on to new owners. Included in this overview will be the pros and cons and the mechanics of selling to an outside buyer, transferring ownership to family members or a key employee, and selling to the larger group of employees. Our panel will include Business broker and exit planner Lynne Silva, principal of The Silva Group, Heather Hurlbert of Vermont Community Loan Fund, and a short segment on selling to employees presented by Matt Cropp of the Vermont Employee Ownership Center
