Participants will learn about a) the impact hearing loss has on language, learning and brain development, b) communication strategies and accommodations, c) types and degrees of hearing loss, d) what communication options are available for families and children, e) services and resources available to support families when a hearing loss is suspected or diagnosed and f) how to support families during transitions from Part C to Part B.
