Playing with Wool February 20, 2019
Join early educator and artist Muffy Kashkin-Grollier for a morning of exploring and playing with wool and meet the sheep (and lambs!) of Treleven Farm. We will learn about the process of producing wool products from sheep fiber and compare the characteristics of wool throughout the process. In addition we will experiment with different felting techniques and brainstorm ways to incorporate wool and wool products into curriculum activities. This may include: loose parts, dramatic play, felting, sensory bins, literacy and others. Participants will discuss connections to the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS).
