Practice-Based Coaching (PBC) is an evidence-based system designed to change teacher practices, improving children's outcomes. Currently, Vermont has a limited number of Practice-Based coaches, and external Practice-Based Coaches are costly. Programs with trained coaches succeed in two ways: they directly improve learning outcomes by improving teaching practices, and, with in-house coaches, coaching costs are significantly reduced, making coaching more sustainable. Pyramid 802 Plus(P802P) is dedicated to increasing the number of trained and qualified coaches by offering this training.

In this training, you will learn:
1) The components of PBC,
2) Formats used in PBC,
3) The importance of collaborative partnerships in PBC, and
4) How to implement each component of PBC.
